______________
ASEAN economy should double in the next 10 years. the 1st priority is to bring the guest workers overseas back home once the economy picks up.
@zexsypmp23 If I understood your original post correctly, the subject is these SEA will go back home from EA if economic conditions improved, right?
First, I it’s clear when a country gets richer, less people will leave so that takes care of new immigration.
how about the ones that are already in the EA countries, will they repatriate? It depends, whether person is acculturated? how well they’re doing in their new home. That is not so different than many Asians that went to US, if someone is young and have been acculturated they don’t want to leave. If they are older, they may stay to make the money then retire in their home country.
First off, Our culture is sinospheric and traditionally, despite hating China (just as the JPnese and Korean), they tend to look down on SEA culture. Yes, Japan and Korea too. Don’t be fooled by their PC talk that they love VN food or Filipino’s hospitality, there is lots of veiled racism in these populations. The reason you know about vnmese racism is because we have more interaction with you and we tell you about it.
you mentioned Dat, PV, et Al. Dat is a northern commie kid who was born and raised in VN. Like many VNmese who haven’t been exposed to the rest of the world, Sinosphere is the bomb. PV is a refugee kid, but indoctrinated by lefty education in America. Henceforth the heavy wannabes. But even then, just because they love EA cultures, doesn’t mean they will immigrate there and make it a permanent home. That’s an entirely different topic.

who are they? are you talking about Chinese or the Vietnamese northern commies? I got relatives in Japan & S.Korea so I am fully aware of their genuine feelings.
