I like a channel called "Voices of the Past." It's run by two brothers, one of whom narrates first person accounts of historical events.

I think that it's a very good channel, and it has various Asian sources. I will post some a few at a time to help digest the videos. The first one I will post is a first person account of the first meeting between the Japanese and Portuguese.

Hey sis I did some research and I found out that the first Admiral of the Philippine Revolutionary Navy was a Cuban!

He was Captain and then Admiral Vicente Catalan.

When the Cuban war of Independence was being waged against Spain, the Philippine war of Independence also happened, in which case Cubans assisted their Filipino brothers and sisters in revolting against Spain.

They should do a video about how the native Filipino viewed the Portuguese and Spaniards.

@elgin He does narratives from first person, written accounts. I'm not sure that there is such a thing available for the Philippines.
