Members of the Enlightenment Party. They staged the Gapsin Coup in 1884 that was suppressed in three days. The stories of reformist figures such as Kim Ok-gyun, Park Young-hyo and Seo Jae-pil are very interesting.

Seo Jae-pil became a medical doctor in the US and married a niece of the former American president James Buchanan.

Prince Yi Wu was born when Korea was part of Imperial Japan. Although he was expected to marry a Japanese noblewoman, he married Park Young-hyo's grand daughter, Park Chan-ju. He died when Hiroshima was bombed in 1945.
