Putin Warns Russia Will Use Nukes in ‘Lightning Fast’ Strike

Putin Warns Russia Will Use Nukes in ‘Lightning Fast’ Strike

Vladimir Putin warned during a press conference that no one should underestimate Russia’s willingness to use its nuclear weapons to destroy any western country that continues to interfere in Ukraine.

The warnings are coming daily from Vladimir Putin and his minions, including Russian diplomats, and via state T.V. that if the West continues to re-arm Ukraine and interfere in its operation in the former Soviet Republic, Russia will use its “weapons.”

The latest threat came from Putin when he spoke to Russian lawmakers this past Monday…

“If someone intends to interfere in what is going on from the outside, they must know that constitutes an unacceptable strategic threat to Russia.

“They must know that our response to counterstrikes will be lightning fast. Fast.

“We have all the weapons we need for this. No one else can brag about these weapons, and we won’t brag about them.

“But we will use them.”

Putin refers to Russia’s six superweapons, including Russia’s deadly Sarmat missile, dubbed “Satan 2,” tested last week. That missile is capable of flying 11,000 miles, carries 15 warheads, and can potentially destroy an area the size of France.

Putin also asserted that the Kremlin…

“Can’t allow an anti-Russia to be created on Russia’s historical territory.”

… and he also insisted again that Ukraine has “pushed” to attack Crimea and Donbas.

While Russia has been forced to conscript men between the ages of 16 and 65 from these Crimea and Donbas to use them as cannon fodder, Putin dares to claim the West uses Ukrainians as “expendable materials.”

Putin did accuse the West of one thing it is doing via sanction: they have …

“Prepared en masse an economic war against Russia, step by step.”

His flirtation with the truth ended there when he accused the West of using…

“All kinds of pretexts and sometimes none to pass sanctions.”

Putin’s latest threats come after Russia threatened to strike military targets in the U.K. after Britain supplied weapons to Ukraine. Russian foreign ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova said the hits could be authorized against NATO member states, saying…

“Do we understand correctly that to disrupt the logistics of military supplies, Russia can strike military targets on the territory of those NATO countries that supply arms to the Kyiv regime?”

“After all, this directly leads to deaths and bloodshed on Ukrainian territory. As far as I understand, Britain is one of those countries.”

During an interview with Russian news agencies, Russia’s foreign minister Sergei Lavrov also warned this past Friday that a nuclear world war is now a “real” danger as British and NATO weapons are “legitimate” targets in Ukraine.

He went on to say the risk of World War 3 is now “considerable” - saying the West is essentially fighting a proxy war against Moscow via its support for Kyiv.

Lavrov also accused NATO forces of “pouring oil on the fire” by “pumping weapons into Ukraine.”

Referring to the supply of weapons by the United States and NATO…

“This is our crucial position on which we base everything.

“The risks now are considerable.

“I would not want to elevate those risks artificially. Many would like that. The danger is serious, real, And we must not underestimate it.”

NATO countries “would be a legitimate target” - reiterating what Russian commanders have said previously since the invasion at the end of February.

Lavrov accused the West of the obvious: deliberately attempting to “wear down the Russian army” and exhaust their ability to make war - something the minister bullishly said was an “illusion.” But he claimed Russia wanted to prevent a nuclear war at all costs.

Lavrov’s comments took place a few days before U.S. Defense Secretary Llyodd J. Austin asserted publically after meeting with Ukrainian President Zelensky that it was the goal of the United States to weaken Russia so that it could not wage war against its neighbors.

Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba described Lavrov’s comments as a sign of Russia’s weakness.

In a statement on Twitter, Kuleba said Russia had lost its “last hope to scare the world off supporting Ukraine.” He added:

“This only means Moscow senses defeat.”

Britain also downplayed the Russian warnings.

Armed Services Minister James Heappey told the BBC: “Lavrov’s trademark over 15 years or so has been the Russian foreign secretary has been that sort of bravado…

“I don’t think that there is an imminent threat of escalation right now.”

Some Russian experts have expressed worry over Putin becoming so desperate that he might use a tactical nuclear weapon on a city or region in Ukraine as a warning and to demonstrate to Ukraine. The rest of the world is willing to leave all of Ukraine decimated like they have left cities as Mariupol was devasted.

Putin must know that if he attacks a member of NATO with a nuclear weapon, Russia will face an all-out nuclear war with the United States. The worry is that Putin may bet that NATO would do nothing if his target were in Ukraine.

Boris Johnson threatened to use nuclear weapons against Russia without NATO approval if Russia crosses the red line and nukes Ukraine.

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson unexpectedly announced that the UK is considering the possibility of launching nuclear strikes without coordinating such steps with other partners in the North Atlantic Alliance. Johnson does not disclose the reasons for such actions, but statements of intent to use nuclear weapons threaten to turn into disastrous consequences for the whole world.

The British Prime Minister’s statement was made against the backdrop of successful tests of the Russian Sarmat heavy intercontinental ballistic missile. This caused quite a big panic just in the UK – according to British experts, this missile alone is enough to destroy an area of about 250 thousand square kilometers.

At the same time, Johnson made the reservation that the use of nuclear weapons was seen as a response.

“In the event of the use of weapons of mass destruction, the UK reserves the right to strike back on its own, without consulting with other NATO countries” said Boris Johnson.

During an appearance on 60 Minutes, State Duma deputy Andrey Isaev, complained about the recent statement by British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, whom he quoted as saying: “In the event of the use of weapons of mass destruction, the U.K. reserves the right to strike back on its own, without consulting with other NATO countries.”

Fuming, Isaev said: “We can also conduct a nuclear strike against Great Britain without consulting with NATO. Great Britain is an excellent target in that sense.” Mocking the garland adorning Johnson’s neck during his recent trip to India, Isaev said: “The noose that was placed around the neck of Mr. Johnson during his trip to India suits him well.”

The inflammatory rhetoric on state television, often seen as a reflection of the prevailing mood at the Kremlin, has become increasingly belligerent. During Tuesday’s broadcast of The Evening With Vladimir Solovyov, the host attempted to deter NATO countries from assisting Ukrainians in their self-defense against Russian aggression.

He continued the theme of accusing Western countries of covertly sending their operatives to fight in Ukraine, stating that they will be destroyed along with the weapons supplied by the West.

Solovyov threatened: “De facto, we’re starting to wage war against NATO countries. We’ll be grinding up NATO’s war machine, as well as citizens of NATO countries. When this operation concludes, NATO will have to ask itself: ‘Do we have what we need to defend ourselves? Do we have enough people to defend ourselves?”

Solovyov opined that not only Ukraine would have to be “denazified,” meaning that Russia
