you can try this article: http://themillenniumreport.com/2015/05/the-cia-ngos-and-color-revolutions/

they're always western groups that go to "fragile democracies" to try to get people they like to win elections, and then to follow their policies, because they can decide who to support during elections.

US domestic NGO's? maybe superpac? not sure really. these are NGO's that go into foreign countries, westerners into non-western countries.

I think NGO's have less influence in the US because the democrats and republicans have their own strong campaign committees. they're also very sensitive to foreign influence even preventing chinese from interacting with their local governments. NGO's work in Russia, middle east, Africa, SEA. they're in China too but China restricts their activities to humanitarian projects.

@wei-nihao Oh okay, can you summarize in a simpler way to tell me what NGO represent? I read the article you sent me, I just did not get it.

Is it something about civil rights activist that leans more toward Communist agenda?

for example there's an Endowment for Democracy NGO that's partially funded by US government, partly from capitalist donors. they were very active in overthrowing pro-Russian leaders in the ex-Soviet bloc. Putin eventually banned them, but the NGO's succeeded in Ukraine turning it against Russia. basically they mobilize young people in poor countries to foster their resentment against their government, and they have funds to make sure people have food and drink and parties when they go on anti-government protests. HK is a similar situation although the foreign NGO's are not as obvious, it's really from HK's own universities and long periods of westernized education.

in the early 2000's china opened up to a lot of US organizations, government and non-government. actually the government organizations like US AID are very restrained. there were NGO's that focused on women's rights, children's rights, etc. But the NGO's lost influence as china developed in those areas. they  needed to get political to get more funding, so they would veer into issues westerners are interested in such as xinjiang, tibet, freedom of press, rule of law etc. they even invested in chinese internet media when it was a new thing. but xi jinping after 2014 stopped all that, so the west turned in their opinion of him.

when Xi Jinping was still vice president, the Americans would feel him up, get a sense of his background, tastes, and goals. they could still be amused that Xi said in Mexico "the westerners with their bellies full pointing at others".

later they felt Xi in his anti-corruption campaign was changing China to be less open to them. Initially under Obama they were trying to work out a framework with China "no confrontation", "new two-countries relations", "avoid the thucydides trap" type of arrangement, so China could grow in a way acceptable to the west.

but as they lost ability to influence china from the bottom up, and ONLY had the strategic minded CPC
to deal with, they decided by late Obama years China should be contained.

@wei-nihao Okay.. Apart from the subject that we are conversing about, "which we can get back to it after I ask you one question".

What is your profession if you have one? If you don't want to answer its okay. I am just curious, because I want to know how you know so much about politics.

@wei-nihao O i see.. I have tried doing my research in the stock market and cryptocurrency. I just don't know what strategy to use to make good gains.

But all I see it as of now is nothing but a gamble, unless if you got insider information.

we don't have any insider information. what we do is we mine the data for information. it's like card counting in blackjack but you get so many black swan events especially now.

there are many different ways. when sentiment changes it pushes the price to change but it cannot be instant. you have to train to understand sentiment for different assets and different climates.

@wei-nihao I see. I know the charts are affected by psychological decisions of the masses to each market. So to understand the direction of the market, is to understand the mind of the masses.

Well, enough for this morning. I should really get to sleep. But lets do exchange our knowledge further the next day or so. Peace Wei nihao for now.
