Filipinos migrated during the Manila Acapulco Galleon Trade between 1565 to 1815 but also in the last 200 years.

Do your Mexican classmates look mixed with Native?

What? Latinos are basically Amerindians mixed with Spaniards.

Yes but they don't always show Native influence in their features. I have seen many DNA results of Latinos who are genetically Mestizo but look completely or predominantly European/White.

While others look predominantly Amerindian but have very different phenotypes from Asians.

That was why I wonder if your Mexican classmates show any Native blood in their physical features?

Mexican population in the East Coast are rising but could you recognize the difference between Mexicans and the predominant Hispanics such as Puerto Ricans and Cubans.

yes, Mexican Indio does clearly appear different from the typical Puerto Rican, Cuban and Dominican that you normally see in your area.

I could see the difference also between Mexican Indio and a Caribbean Mestizo ( since pure Caribbean Indios are today rarely seen and some say they are extinct.)

Do the Mexican classmates that look very Amerindian look uniquely Native and clearly different from/cannot pass as Pinoys or other Asians?

To me, some of them can pass as Filipino if they have flatter faces and some of them have Filipino eyes as we do. But overall, I can tell them apart from us easily.

Can you post examples of Mexican Indios that would never pass/be mistaken as Pinoys?

it's impossible to miss Mexicans in the midwest because they usually work at restaurants. They are usually open about sharing their history and culture with anyone who is interested. I suggest for you to get some Latino friends because you seemed interested in their community.

Ok. She does MyHeritage which is not that accurate though as it can hide her European admixture.

Can someone ask her to do AncestryDNA or 23andme instead: they are much better at detecting Euro and Native admixture in Latinos.

Body built.  Native Indians could appear physically strong, robust and athletic from head to toe while several also are built to run long distance at high altitude.  There are more variation found among Native Indians because they have clearly developed different body types across different terrains on a large continent compared to Filipinos in Philippines. Filipinos could grow actually big but several are petite to medium built.

That make sense. I agreed that Amerindians can be physically much more robust and muscular than Filipinos and SE Asians. Are Native Indian women also more curvy with bigger breasts and butts than Filipinas as well?

Also what are the most differences in facial/phenotypical features between Amerindians and Filipinos?

yes in general however some Filipinas could have those body features.

It depend on which Native Indians but some have prominent facial features such as their aquiline nose, wide open eyes, strong jaws and forehead and their skin complexion appears different compared to Filipinos.

I guess Filipinos in general would never mistaken Native Indians with those prominent facial features as one of them because they look clearly different?

What Native Indian groups in Latin America look the most different phenotypically from Pinoys?

Native Indians in general are taller than Filipinos.  The only Native Indians that have similar height to Filipinos on average are Central Americans, Southern Mexicans and some Amazonian Indians.

Some pure Filipinos do have prominent facial features but it appears different compared to Native Indians.

Native Indian groups with prominent facial features would be considered the most different phenotypically to Filipinos.

After US/Canadian and Northern Mexican tribes, which Native groups would you say look the most different facially/phenotypically from Pinos: Andeans followed by Patagonians and Central Mexican tribes?

Andeans are clearly next after U.S./Canada and Northern Mexican tribes but Patagonians and Central Mexicans are are close enough to go either way as the next one afterwards but I would say Patagonians are next after Northern Mexicans however some Patagonians appear more similar to Filipino facial features than some Central Americans.

I'm a bit confused. So Andeans after Northern Mexican tribes or Patagonians after Northern Mexicans?

Are you referring to Patagonian tribes like Selknam, Yaghan, Tehuelche?

I guess its because some Central Americans have those prominent facial features such as aquiline nose, longer sharper face and thinner lips which makes them look more Caucasoid which makes them look very different from Pinoys compared to some Patagonians?

Don't Patagonians usually look much more pseudo-Northern Mongoloid/Siberian and much taller, muscular and robust than Pinos?

Definitely Andeans after Northern Mexicans.

I meant to say Patagonians after Andeans only because several Central Americans have prominent facial features.

yes definitely, several Central Americans have those prominent facial features that's absent on the faces of the pure Filipinos which make them more closer to Patagonian facial features.

Patagonians are taller, more muscular and robust by far.

Comparing Patagonian facial features to Central American Indians with prominent facial features made me realize that Patagonians appear more closer to Filipinos.

In general Polynesians appear similar to Filipinos but Southern Mexican Indians, Central American Indians and Amazonian Indians facial appearance are also similar to Filipinos.

On the other hand, Southern Mexican Indians, Central American Indians, Amazonian Indians and Caribbean Indians have similar height and built to Filipinos and therefore their body physique is similar to Filipinos.

I believe Southern Mexican and Central American Indians are almost the same though so you could literally lumped them together. Same case with Amazonian Indians and Caribbean Indians (the latter seems extinct in pure form but it is mentioned that they are originally from Northern South America which are literally almost the same group as Amazonian Natives.

Would you say the Aztecs are South or Central Mexican Indians? I noticed from the old statues and depictions of them that have very long aquiline nose, narrow horsey face and thin lips which gives them a very Caucasoid vibe different from Filos. Many Mayans also have very prominent facial features with Caucasoid-like phenos which makes them look very different from Pinos despite them being South Mexican/Central American Indians.

Aztecs civilization was located on both southern region and central region, therefore I would say both.

Several depictions of the noble families in Aztecs and Mayans have those prominent facial features which makes them appear different when compared to Filipinos.  Those prominent facial features were also found among the common native people.  However in general the Native population's facial features varied from prominent to less prominent.

Several Micronesians appear similar to Filipinos but I would say Filipinos appear closer to Native Indians when compared to Micronesians.

Micronesians and Polynesians do appear more similar to one another compared to Filipinos and Native Indians however.

And Micronesians appear similar to Native Indians when compared to Polynesians.

If she went instead to Philippines, the locals would think that she's a Filipina from the Philippines because of her heavy accent.

On some pics somehow she appears predominantly Mexican.

He actually does not appear Filipino on the close-up picture.  He really appears typical Mexican that's predominantly Native American Indian with some Spanish Ancestry at one time. I would consider him Cholo.

Zamboanga received colonists from Peru when Panama governor Sebastian Corcuera used Peruvian soldiers to war against Sultan Qudarat. Zamboangeño Chavacano is also based off Mexican-Spanish.

The Genetic Study I gave you earlier identify Chavacanos who are mostly in Zamboanga as 40% of their population having high amounts of Hispanic descent.
