SE Asians who have Indian ancestry who are the majority of the population also receive Ancient Ancestral South Indians/AASI along with Caucasoid admixture from their South Asian ancestors.

AASI component peaks in Paniyas, a Dravidian speaking Veddoid tribal group from South India. AASI would very likely resemble Paniyas and other Veddoids in appearance:

Are you sure about that? You are basing your ancestry calculations on software which only has samples of ONLY 1 Filipino! I know this because I read the entire thread you took from The Apricity.

Your findings is directly contradicted by this scientfic study published in the Journal of Bioanthropology.

Filipinos are only 71% Asian compared to Thais that are 93% Asian, who in your analysis have the highest Caucasoid ancestry.

Go, Matthew C. (January 15, 2018). "An Admixture Approach to Trihybrid Ancestry Variation in the Philippines with Implications for Forensic Anthropology"Human Biology232 (3): 178. doi:10.13110/humanbiology.90.3.01. Retrieved September 11, 2020Filipinos appear considerably admixed with respect to the other Asian population samples, carrying on average less Asian ancestry (71%) than our Korean (99%), Japanese (96%), Thai (93%), and Vietnamese (84%) reference samples. We also revealed substructure in our Filipino sample, showing that the patterns of ancestry vary within the Philippines—that is, between the four differently sourced Filipino samples. Mean estimates of Asian (76%) European (7%)...

Anyway, lets not have dick measuring contests over who has more Caucasoid or European descent. Koreans and Japanese have even less Caucasoid than any Southeast Asian, but as we bicker over who is whiter, these people who have zero or neglegible Caucasoid descent are considered more attractive or popular than us. Caucasoid ancestry means little in the long run.

@selurong

Okay if Pinoys are only 71% Asian genetically on average, what is the rest of their 29% ancestry? Oceanian, European, African? Please tell me...

And that data doesn't make sense because it shows Vietnamese being less Asian than Thai when Thais are actually a lot more Caucasoid mixed than Viets..

Wait...this is not even a genetic study. Its a craniometric study of skulls. Lol we are not even discussing the same thing.. My posts was about autosomal DNA, not clustering people based on their skulls similarities. You don't seem to understand how genetic works if you think that craniometric study of skulls and classifying them into what races they belong to is the same think of autosomal DNA and population genetics.

You cannot use this study and compare it to the DNA results of various SE Asian groups in my post. The paper you linked is about the craniometric and classifying ancestry based on the similarities of skulls, not about autosomal DNA and genetic composition.

For example, the paper you posted claims that the Chinese have around 13% African ancestry and 15% European ancestry when actually the Chinese has no African and European ancestry at all. The study you linked also claims Hanihara Negritos have around 47% African ancestry when Negritos despite sharing phenotypical similarity with Negroids, actually have no African genetic ancestry at all and are purely East Eurasian.

In regarding to your last paragraph, ok fair enough but I find it funny that many Pinoys have the story of a Spanish ancestor in their family tree and expected themselves to be heavily Caucasoid admixed, but when they tested their DNA, it's turns out to be 0% or only 1-3% lmao.

The Philippines have a history with Arab traders plus there are Filipinos in the south who have Arabic and Indian features. the Testing on Filipinos DNA should be separate for Filipinos in Luzon and Filipinos in Mindanao

Mahilum-West, in 2016 an estimated 2 percent of the population of the Philippines, about 2.2 million people, could claim partial Arab ancestry.
