I believe either Myanmar or Thailand followed by Malaysia.

Myanmar and Thailand is right next to India so that's very logical.

Your observations are spot on. I played around with the Vahaduo calculator using harappaworld results of various southeast asian people and one thing I noticed is that burmese, thais, malays (both from indonesia and malaysia) as well as cambodians have pretty high south asian admixture all with more than 10%. Their caucasoid mostly comes from south asians. Even the chams of vietnam have pretty high south asian but their difference from the others is that they have higher Northeast asian component.

Average of South asian admixture based on harappaworld results:

Burmese- 16.99

Indonesian - 14.50

Malaysian - 11.82 (only one sample)

Cambodian 13.50

Thai- 12.55

Cham Vietnamese - 11.28

Kinh vietnamese - 1.98 (only one sample)

Filipino - 3.11

This is why if you look at the distance between populations, filipinos are closest to kinh and vice versa rather than the malays because malays have high south asian admixture.

Note: I added filipino to the source population since the calculator does not have any reference for them.

It groups kinh and filipinos together because they have the lowest south asian admixture. I also did these with dodecad results of southeast asians and the results are almost the same.
