List ancient names of places as they were called by natives prior to Spanish arrival/colonial change or their modern names.

Buglas - Negros
Sugbo - Cebu
Lusong - Luzon
Tandaya - Leyte
Kagayan - Cagayancillo (Little Cagayan)
Ybabao (don't know if this is a name picked by Spanish via name used by natives outside of Samar, because 'ibabaw' literally means "above") - Samar
Taguima - Basilan (the local Yakans have several names for the island/s but Taguima seems like the name used by other Filipinos esp. by Visayans)
Magsasanga (I don't speak Waray but it sounds like it means "branching off" "branch of---") - Cabo de (Cape of) Espiritu Santo

I'll list some more, I'm in a meeting right now, pretending to work.
