Sandball fight is the English term used to describe a variety of native Filipino games where you take two balls made of dirt (mud) or sand with water, and have them roll down towards one another on a semi-circular ramp to see which one cracks or disintegrates first. The player whose ball doesn't crack or disintegrate is the winner. It may take a few rounds to determine a winner. In the Western Visayas, it is called Pukol or Pukoe. In the Mountain Province of Luzon it is called Gal-Galila. The challenge of the game is in making the balls sturdier than your opponent's.
