@j-r-c Do research on the peranakan dual loyalty in Malaysia. Soon, the Chinoys in the Philippines will be claimed as Chinese decedents by the mainland Chinese if they see a benefit for the motherland.
The only options for Austronesians to survive is to remove anything Chinese just like the Indonesians.

Marcos snags $22.8bn in investment pledges on China trip
MANILA -- Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.'s state visit to China generated $22.8 billion worth of investment pledges, his office said on Thursday.
Marcos met Chinese President Xi Jinping on Wednesday and was due to wrap up his three-day trip on Thursday. The state visit -- the first by Marcos outside Southeast Asia -- was touted as a tone-setter for relations between the two countries, which cooperate on economic matters but compete in the South China Sea.
The commitments Marcos secured from Chinese investors include $13.76 billion for renewable energy, $7.32 billion for electric vehicles and mineral processing, and $1.72 billion for agriculture, according to Marcos's office.

He ruled under martial law from 1972 until 1981 and kept most of his martial law powers until he was deposed in 1986, branding his rule as "constitutional authoritarianism"
