In some province, there are talks of reopening.
no news yet of when...
Lockdown will be over when no new cases rises within the 14 day period. If there is no new cases from 5/14 to 5/30, that's when lockdown will slowly open.
They won't open everything at once. There are 4 stages? The 3rd stage is restaurants and hair salons will finally be open to allow customers in and it will likely happen some time in summer. The 4th stage is finally opening up sporting events and concerts which will probably won't happen until the end of the year.
They probably won't allow anything to be open except grocery stores, since another one is supposedly happening either fall or winter.
The news said that they will open up stores and restaurants some time this summer and if another virus outbreaks occurs in fall or winter then we have to go through the whole process of social distancing, quarantining, sanitizing, wearing mask, staying at home and testing all over again. Was it better to keep the stores and restaurants close during the summer to prevent another virus outbreak in fall or winter? Maybe? Others say the virus outbreak would have reoccurred anyways during fall or winter because of the long cold temperature.
In other words, we can only reopen if there is zero cases. it only takes one dishonest person to bring everybody down
The government won't wait to reopen until zero cases. They will reopen when the infected population is containable and small however not every retail store and restaurant will open all at once. The larger the gathering, the less likely it will open up any time soon.
